Andy Eavis

He has led a large number of expeditions over the past 32 years. Notable achievements include bottoming the world’s deepest cave twice and discovering the largest chamber in the world in Mulu.
As well as his field work, Andy has also been instrumental in raising the worldwide profile of cave exploration and is currently senior vice-president of the International Union of Speleology.
Other Expeditions

Andy has also been involved in The China Caves Project from the beginning, contributing to the massive opening-up of China that has resulted in the discovery of some the world’s largest cave passages.
His most recent expedition was a filming trip late last year with the BBC Natural History Unit to the deepest cave in North America, Lechuguilla.
