Descending the Nare

The Nare entrance shaft was descended using Single Rope Technique (SRT).

Ascending the Nare

The ascent takes up to one and a half hours depending on your level of fitness.

The gruelling task has to be undertaken in temperatures in the mid thirties Celcius and a humidity level of 95-100%.
